Lucille approached us with a requirement for a garden patio canopy to cover her paved area at the rear of her basement flat. Lucille enjoys entertaining and spending as much time as possible outside in the garden. Aesthetics we very important due to the surrounding manicured and maintained gardens… the ‘Ultimate’ canopy was the ideal choice. The initial visit in London was to discuss her needs, the area was relatively straightforward to cover.
Due to the property being a basement flat, we wanted to make the most space available. We had to be mindful of the neighbouring residents as Lucille did not want an ugly looking canopy that would appear intrusive. We could adjust the height of the canopy to ensure the boiler flue was not protruding above the canopy. As our canopies are bespoke, we can overcome any obstacle and we could satisfy Lucille’s needs.
The canopy drawings were signed off and Lucille chose to have the structure powder coated in RAL 9010, Pure White, which would suit the white windows/doors and paintwork. She chose clear polycarbonate for the roof which would allow maximum light transmission to the windows & doors.
Once a manufactured/delivered date had been confirmed, the installation team arranged a suitable date for the garden patio canopy to be delivered and erected.
Once installation started, the canopy took shape quite quickly and by the end of the first day, the structure was bolted together, glazed with polycarbonate and secured to the ground.
