Double Carport Canopy Installed in Newark

Craig, our customer approached us with a requirement for a double carport canopy to cover his cars to give full protection from the weather.

Craig lives in a gorgeous converted barn with a modern and contemporary look and feel. He wanted a carport canopy to not only provide protection but add to the aesthetics of the area. The canopy was to be installed between the house and his office.

The carport had a straightforward design as the area was open and free from obstructions. Craig had already decided where it would be best to situate the carport and what the most appropriate design would be.

The site survey was straightforward and simple, we were there to give advice on height, leg position and confirm sizes.

Once planning permission had been agreed, Craig signed the final drawings off and asked for the structure to be powder coated in Grey Brown (RAL8019), which would complement the surroundings, buildings and area. Craig chose Clear polycarbonate for the roof glazing, to allow as much light into the area, as it was close to the windows and doors on the house.

Once a manufactured delivered date had been confirmed, the installation team arranged a suitable date for the canopy to be delivered and erected.

Craig had organised for the groundworks to be completed by his staff prior to installation.

Installation of the canopy was straightforward and by the end of the first day, the canopy structure was in place and partially glazed. The second day was finishing off glazing the canopy and final wipe down and walk around with Craig, to hand over the carport.
