Our customer Neil wanted a wall attached canopy to replace his old and worn canopy with a top of the range, value for money, and stylish structure. The wall-attached canopy suited all of Neil’s needs by providing a solution that was perfectly compliant with the space Neil had, as well as providing coverage and protection to the area to the side of his house where he walks underneath and parks his vehicles.
Neil wanted a new canopy and ours appealed to him because of how stylish and sleek they are. Additionally, Neil was concerned about the strength of the canopy. Each carport and canopy that we install comes with full structural calculations from our structural engineers, so we can guarantee that they are a safe, secure, and a substantial product. We provided further reassurance by informing Neil that his steel canopy would be hot-dip galvanised which means it is resistant to corrosion.
Designing the canopy was relatively straightforward and only restricted by Neil’s specification.
Furthermore, the final drawings were signed off by Neil and he wanted the structure to be powder coated in Grey Brown Matt (RAL8019). This is because this RAL would complement and blend with the surroundings. Neil chose Opal polycarbonate for the roof glazing, which helps the canopy hide bird mess and debris falling from the trees.
Once a manufactured date had been confirmed, the installation team arranged a suitable date for the canopy to be delivered and erected. Installation of the canopy was straightforward and due to the simplicity in the space.
In conclusion, the Kappion fitting team used all of our experience and expertise and the carport was installed in just two days which included taking down the existing canopy. Once installation was finished, we had a final wipe down and hand over with Neil, who was extremely happy with the finished product and the professional service that was delivered from the initial enquiry all the way to the installation.
