Mrs Snape (our customer) approached us with a requirement for a carport canopy to go between hers and her neighbours bungalows. Due to the low eaves & large soffits which are common place with bungalows, an ‘Ultimate’ custom designed carport was the obvious solution to us.
The initial visit with Mrs Snape was to discuss her needs and to take exact measurements as space was a premium and for obvious reasons the canopy wasn’t able to fix to her neighbours wall. The design process was very detailed due to the eaves, windows, waste pipes and utility boxes, we wanted to ensure the most efficient use of space without compromising any of the existing features of the bungalow. Also the width of the driveway was already narrow, so the correct canopy and design would minimise any further loss of space.
The canopy drawings were signed off and Mrs Snape chose the framework to be powder coated to RAL 9005 Jet Black, which would go with the existing Black guttering and downpipes. She chose Clear polycarbonate for the roof which would allow maximum light transmission to the windows & door.
Once a manufactured/delivered date had been confirmed, the installation team arranged a suitable date for the canopy to be delivered and erected.
Due to the precise measurements and custom manufacturing, the canopy was installed without issue. We and our customer Mrs Snape are extremely pleased with the finished project.
