Our customer enquired with us as he was in search of a free-standing Europort for the front of his property as he wanted to protect his sports car from the harsh winter weather. The carport had to look good and it needed to be really well made – our customer knew what he was looking for!
M lives in a beautiful location and he, therefore, wanted a canopy to complement the surroundings. Our free-standing Europort was a perfect solution for a number of reasons.
Firstly, our steel canopies come with full structural calculations which means that they are really safe.
Secondly, our Europort style with its contemporary fascia offered a modern look and feel which suited M’s sports car and the property.
Finally, the larch timber wall infills that we offer would complement the natural beauty of the surrounding area. There is nothing better than powder coated steel mixed with natural stone and/or timber!
Our free-standing Europort was a straightforward design as it is, in this instance, essentially square. During our survey we agreed how the Europort would be secured, which was concreting the posts in the ground with accompanying rebar.
M was pleased with our value for money price and placed his order and paid his deposit. A week or so later, M along with our surveyor, were signing off the production drawings, which had been engineered by our designers and structural teams.
M wanted the structure to be powder coated in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey which would blend with the doors and windows on his property. Clear polycarbonate sheet was the most appropriate roof material in order to maintain the light and airy feel underneath the canopy during the day, which M wanted to achieve.
Throughout the design and production process, our team liaised with M to ensure that he was happy with every step being taken. Soon enough his Europort had been manufactured and we arranged a suitable installation date.
Everything went smoothly and the installation was over by our professional team within a couple of days. Finally, we had a wipe down and hand over with M who was over the moon with the finished solution.
