David contacted us with a requirement for a wide carport for his home in Maidstone. The carport needed to be customised so that the posts could be positioned in such a way that they would avoid any tree roots. Furthermore, the carport needed to compliment his property, along with his modern and contemporary fence.
After our estimated price was well received, we organised a site survey and design consultation with David. We discussed every aspect of the project and agreed that the carport would be wall attached and span the full width of the drive. The 3D scans taken on site were then used to create a 3D video walkthrough of the carport, showing it in situ. David was over the moon with the design so we calculated a final price for him.
The final price met Davids expectations so he placed an order with us and our engineers started the CAD drawings. David asked for the canopy structure to be powder-coated in RAL 9005 Jet Black and for the roof to be glazed in bronze polycarbonate. As you can see from the photos above, this combination works very well and bronze polycarbonate is perfect for areas where there are a lot of trees.
Once the carport had been manufactured, our project manager arranged a suitable date for the carport to be delivered and erected. Despite the fact that we had to cut and re-weld Davids fence, the structure was fully installed within just two days. David and his wife were overjoyed with their brand new Kappion Carport!
