Our latest project took us to Exeter, where our client Michael had a clear, ambitious vision for his home: a sleek, modern shelter that wouldn’t just protect his vehicles, but would visually extend the existing lines of his property.
Michael wanted a canopy that sat perfectly inline with his home’s existing porch structure. To bring this vision to life, we engineered and installed a stunning floating Europort measuring 5.5m x 4m x 2.1m high—providing ample, seamless cover for two cars.
Tailored Details & Sleek Engineering
Every aspect of this build was customised to complement the host home:
- Colour & Light: Finished in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, the frame offers a bold, contemporary feel. The roofing features high-performance opal polycarbonate, delivering bright, ambient light while filtering out harsh glare and keeping out rain.
- Contemporary Fascia: A clean, modern fascia wraps around the canopy, matching the exact styling of the main house.
- Smart Drainage: Functionality meets clean aesthetics with a hidden internal downpipe at the rear, discreetly depositing rainwater into the earth without breaking the structure’s sleek exterior lines.
- Signature Slats: The true centerpiece of the design is the custom aluminium spaced slats. They lend a sophisticated architectural look that sets the canopy apart from standard builds, while offering additional side protection and shade.
Two Days to Transformation
A project this refined doesn’t have to take weeks of disruption. Our team completed the full installation in just two days, taking the canopy from raw materials to a finished showcase piece.
The local reaction said it all. Before the tools were even packed away, neighbors were walking over to inspect the craftsmanship and admire the upgrade to the streetscape. Most importantly, Michael was over the moon to see his vision brought to life down to the millimeter.
