Janet, our customer approached us with a requirement for a carport and walkway canopy to protect her car and provide shelter all year round. Janet required a bespoke carport and walkway canopy to fit the space available perfectly.
The main aim of our site visit was to make sure we could avoid the soffits on her property using cranked posts and to make sure we could fill the space to keep her and her husband dry. Coverage provided by these canopies was massively important to Janet. Janet’s husband has been recovering from a serious accident for some time and uses a wheelchair to get to his car and to his garage so she wanted to create a dry space for him.
Due to the customisation of our canopies, we could meet all of Janet’s requirements. Each and every canopy is structurally sound, fully guaranteed and custom designed to create the perfect dry space.
The first draft drawings were created following the site survey and Janet was happy to confirm the measurements of the carport and walkway canopy. We had to ensure that the cranked posts were the right size so that we would avoid soffits and maximise the coverage.
Janet signed off the final drawings for her carport and walkway canopy and chose the contemporary colour Jet Black (RAL 9005) for both canopies. Janet chose clear polycarbonate for the roof glazing as she wanted to ensure maximum light transmission. Once a manufactured date had been confirmed, the installation team arranged a suitable date for the canopy to be delivered and erected.
The installation of the canopies was straightforward due to our fitting team’s expertise; our specialist installation team pursued and the carport and walkway canopies were fully installed within two days. Janet couldn’t be happier with her carport and walkway canopy. We delivered the perfect custom solution that Janet would not have found with our competitors.
