Doug got in touch with the Kappion team whilst searching for a canopy to cover his patio. Doug liked the Q-curved style that we offer with it’s gentle curve.
The estimated price was well received, and the next step was for us to conduct a site survey. During the survey, we took our usual detailed 360 point cloud scans and we discussed with Doug and his wife post positions and furniture placement, to optimise the area.
Following the survey we sent Doug and his wife a 360 walkthrough video so they could see exactly how the canopy was going to look once it had been installed. Our customers love this part of our process.
Order Placed, Engineering Started:
Our design engineers began with the production CAD drawings. Doug requested for the canopy structure to be powder-coated in RAL7016 Anthracite Grey.
They decided the roof should be glazed in Opal structured polycarbonate as this will give a light and airy feel to the canopy, whilst reducing glare.
Once the canopy had been manufactured, our project manager arranged a suitable date for the carport to be delivered and erected.
