Our customer contacted us regarding a motorcycle valet canopy for the Shaw Harley Davidson Site as they absolutley recognised us a professional canopy company.
First and foremost, during the site visit it was clear that this was going to be a straightforward installation because of the level ground and the open workspace that was utilised by the fitting team. Additionally, our contact at Harley Davidson said that he would arrange for staff to excavate each footing prior to our installation.
The site visit was mainly spent going over the exact size required and making the most of the space. We also discussed side panelling for protection against the wind and rain as well as to obstruct overspray from the jet wash polluting the area where customers park their cars. The side panelling had to be flat to allow for branding, so we used 25mm polycarbonate sheet.
Once our customer was happy with the proposed size and solution so we expected the customer to sign off the production drawings quickly which they did. In addition, we powder-coated the canopy in Jet Black (RAL 9005) as it needed to be aesthetically pleasing; the canopy would be customer-facing and on display.
Installation began and the canopy took shape very quickly and by the end of the first day, the framework secure and levelled in preparation for the roof glazing and side infill panelling. Moreover, the last day was spent glazing the canopy, and installing the down pipes and side panelling. Finally, the canopy was ready for the Dealer Principle to inspect the finished solution.
Without a doubt he was exceedingly pleased with the quality and the deadline being met. After installation, it was evident that the paint complemented the clear polycarbonate panelling. The canopy looked sleek and substantial and the working area underneath the canopy was light and airy.
