Ashley got in touch with the Kappion team whilst searching for a canopy to cover his new vehicle.
This Europort carport was to sit in front of his existing garage and incorporate a new wall of cladding by Kappion. We used our Rhombus shaped Stora Ensa Thermowood product, which is a pressure treated timber, very stable and very few knots. Like Larch it goes grey over time if left untreated.
The estimated price was well received, the next step was for us to conduct a site survey. During the survey, our surveyor discussed every aspect of the project with Ashley and his wife. We discussed how the carport was going to be used and where we wanted the front post to be located, as this would also be the starting point for his new fence.
Order Placed, Engineering Started:
Our design engineers began with the production CAD drawings. Ashley and his wife requested for the canopy structure to be powder-coated in RAL7016 Anthracite Grey
Ashley chose Opal polycarbonate for the roof glazing. This gave the canopy a light and airy feel, whilst hiding debris from the trees.
Once the canopy had been manufactured, our project manager arranged a suitable date for the carport to be delivered and erected.
The canopy was installed by our expert fitters and finished to a high standard with a full wraparound fascia.
The carport looks better than what I had visualised. Very happy with it….Ashley
