Mike & Sonja, our customer approached us with a requirement for a carport canopy to the rear of the property as they didn’t have a garage and loved the look of our contemporary carports.
Mike & Sonja lives in a beautiful house, in a lovely area with a modern and contemporary feel, and wanted a carport canopy to not only provide protection but add to the aesthetics of the area.
The canopy itself was a straightforward design as the area was open and only limited by the client’s requirements.
Mike & Sonja signed the final drawings off and wanted the structure to be powder coated in Anthracite Grey (RAL7016), which would complement and blend with the surroundings. Mike & Sonja chose Bronze polycarbonate for the roof glazing, which helps the canopy hide bird mess and debris falling from the trees. Bronze polycarbonate also blends well with trees and fencing.
Once a manufactured date had been confirmed, the installation team arranged a suitable date for the canopy to be delivered and erected.
Installation of the canopy was straightforward and due to the simplicity in the space. The Kappion fitting team made good time, using all of our experience and efficiency the carport was installed in one day… even with the slight adjustment to the height, requested by Mike & Sonja. Once installation was finished, we had a final wipe down and hand over with Sonja & Mike, who was extremely happy with the finished product and thought to put a car under such an elegant piece of art was a waste 🙂
