Paul approached us with a clear need: a custom-built carport that would not only protect his vehicles but also perfectly integrate with his driveway and garage entrance. He needed a solution that offered generous space, ensuring comfortable parking for two vehicles while maintaining easy access to his garage.
Visualising the Perfect Fit: Design Certainty with 3D
After providing an initial estimate, we moved swiftly to the most crucial step: the site survey. Our surveyor didn’t just take measurements; they engaged in a detailed consultation with Paul, helping him navigate his uncertainty about which carport style would work best.
To ensure absolute confidence in his decision, we generated realistic 3D visualisations based on site scans. Paul was able to see the Qubik, Europort, and our popular Quarter Curve designs superimposed onto his driveway. The visuals were key, and Paul quickly settled on the Quarter Curve for its superior aesthetics and functional fit, which also proved to be the most cost-efficient option.
Built to Last: The Anthracite Grey & Bronze Specification
With the design locked in, Paul finalised his order. He specified a sophisticated RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey powder-coated finish with a fine texture—a perfect match for his existing garage door and our most frequently selected colour.
To guarantee a long-lasting, premium finish, our robust steel carports undergo a meticulous duplex coating process:
- The structure is fabricated, welded, and trial assembled at our facility.
- It’s then disassembled and hot-dip galvanised for complete corrosion resistance.
- Finally, an 80-micron fine textured powder coating is applied and oven-baked, delivering a superior, durable finish.
For the roof glazing, Paul chose bronze polycarbonate roofing. This was a practical aesthetic choice, providing a harmonious look while cleverly concealing debris from nearby trees without drastically reducing natural light.
Precision Installation in One Day
Once manufactured, our project manager scheduled the delivery and installation. Our expert team completed the entire project efficiently within a single day, fitting the quarter-curved carport with absolute precision to maximise the available driveway space.
The result is a stunning, high-quality Kappion Canopy that meets every one of Paul’s needs. He was extremely pleased with the final structure, which now stands ready to protect his vehicles year-round.
