After Paul accepted the estimated price, we proceeded with a site survey. Our surveyor engaged in a detailed consultation with Paul, addressing his uncertainty regarding carport styles. To aid his decision, we generated a 3D visualisation showcasing the Qubik, Quarter Curve, and Europort designs within his specific site context. The site scans facilitated the creation of these realistic visuals. Paul was highly satisfied with the visualisations and chose the Quarter Curve for its superior aesthetics and functional fit. We then finalised the pricing, highlighting the Quarter Curve’s cost-efficiency relative to the other models.
Order Placed:
Paul approved the final price and proceeded with his order. Subsequently, our engineering team began creating the CAD drawings. Paul requested that the canopy structure be powder-coated in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, with a fine textured finish, to ensure a cohesive look with his garage door. Notably, Anthracite Grey is our most frequently selected colour by clients.
To ensure longevity, we duplex coat our robust steel carports. This comprehensive process begins with fabrication, including drilling and welding, and a trial assembly in our production facility. Upon approval, the structure is disassembled, and each steel component is hot-dip galvanised for corrosion resistance. Following galvanisation, an 80-micron fine textured powder coating is applied and oven-baked, resulting in a superior, long-lasting finish.
In addition to the powder-coated structure, Paul requested bronze polycarbonate roofing. This choice, as illustrated in the accompanying photos, offers a harmonious aesthetic and practical benefits, notably its ability to conceal debris from nearby trees without significantly reducing natural light.
Once the canopy had been manufactured, our project manager arranged a suitable date for the carport to be delivered and erected.
Our installation team completed the project within one day, maintaining a high level of craftsmanship. The quarter-curved carport was precisely fitted to optimise the driveway area. Paul was extremely pleased with the final result, his new Kappion Canopy.
