How Paul Got the Perfect Modern Carport for His Home

Paul first found us on social media and was instantly impressed. What caught his eye? Our Europort style. Its sleek, modern design was the perfect match for his home’s aesthetic, and he knew he had to have one.

He quickly sent over a sketch of his plan, and our estimators got him a detailed quote the very next day. Once he approved the estimate, the process moved to the next key step: the site survey.

Precision Planning: The Site Survey

Paul arranged a site survey with our project manager for a date that worked best for him. That’s when Gary, our surveyor, stepped in.

Gary met with Paul to discuss exactly what he needed, covering both the practical and visual elements of the new carport. To guarantee a perfect fit, Gary used our advanced Leica 360 scanner. This device captures multiple images and data points, creating a precise point cloud—essentially a digital model of the area. This allowed our design team to design the canopy directly within the digital model, ensuring flawless integration with Paul’s property.

From Scan to Stunning 3D Design

With the detailed scans and information complete, Gary sent the data to our design team. The designer then created a 3D video walkthrough. This was a game-changer! It gave Paul a crystal-clear, realistic look at how the canopy would integrate with his home.

The visual worked wonders; Paul approved the design immediately, confirming it was everything he’d hoped for.

With the design locked in, we confirmed all the final details: the RAL colour, the polycarbonate tint, and the infill material.

Custom Finishes and a Perfect Fit

Paul opted for a truly custom setup:

  • A powder-coated aluminium slatted infill wall.
  • A lockable gate for added security.
  • A RAL 9016 (white) fascia to complement his property.
  • RAL 7012 (dark grey) posts and infills to match his existing gates.

There was a slight hesitation about the white fascia, but the finished product proved the choice was right!

Manufacturing began after Paul signed off on his customised production drawings (after just a single revision). Our project manager coordinated the installation, and our expert team installed the canopy over three and a half days.

The final result was a premium aesthetic that exceeded all expectations. Paul was immensely satisfied, telling us the canopy’s integration with his home’s architecture was absolutely perfect!
