Our customer approached us with a requirement for an alfresco patio canopy to cover their paved area at the rear of the house. Bill enjoys entertaining and spending as much time as possible outside in the garden. Aesthetics were extremely important to Bill as he wanted the canopy attached to his property covering his brand new patio area.
The initial visit was with Bill to discuss his needs. The area was relatively straightforward to cover. He wanted to cover the space as efficiently as possible so decided that two of the posts would need to be attached to his property, and the other two posts could be bolted to the floor at the bottom of the step up to the patio. To save even more space, we decided on integrated gutters and internal downpipes. Keeps everything really neat and tidy.
The canopy drawings were signed off by Bill and he wanted the structure to be powder coated in Jet Black (RAL9005), which would compliment his new patio area. He chose clear polycarbonate for the roof which would allow the maximum light transmission into the alfresco patio canopy area.
Once a manufactured date had been confirmed, the installation team arranged a suitable date for the alfresco patio canopy to be delivered and erected.
Once installation started, the canopy took shape quite quickly and by the end of the day, the structure was bolted together and glazed with polycarbonate. Only one day was required for our team to fully install Bill’s canopy and complete the hand over to make sure he was happy.
Due to our extensive installation experience, planning and design this canopy installation went really smoothly with no surprises. We and our customer were extremely pleased with the finished product.
