Double Carport Canopy installed in Kingston Upon Thames

Shaheen approached us with a need for a curved carport installed at his home in Kingston Upon Thames. He wanted to protect his vehicles from the acorn tree above, as it was damaging his vehicles and making a mess.  Our steel carport appealed to him so much as he recognised that it would provide much more effective, longer-lasting protection that an aluminium carport.

After we received Shaheen’s enquiry, we promptly organised a site survey which would work well for Shaheen and his busy schedule.

When we conducted our site survey, we noticed that Shaheen’s driveway sloped to one side, so this meant that we had to custom make all of the leg posts so that they would all be different lengths. 

Due to our expertise and experience and also Shaheens’s coherence, the carport was relatively easy to design and we determined the post positions quickly. We decided that a free-standing carport would be the most suitable option.

Once the final sizes were decided upon we were able to supply Shaheen with a great value for money final price. As the project got underway, our team and Shaheen signed off the final CAD drawings. Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016) was chosen for the powder coating which would complement and blend with the surroundings. Furthermore, Shaheen chose bronze polycarbonate as it helps to hide all of the debris fallen from the acorn tree.

Once the manufacturing process came to an end and we had Shaheen’s canopy ready, we contacted him to establish a suitable installation date. Our professional fitting team made their way for Kingston On Thames and began the installation.

Due to the planning and organisation of the project as well as the experience of our fitting team, the carport itself was installed in just 2 days by two of our professional fitters. No complications occurred during the installation.
