David approached us with a requirement for a door canopy to cover his front door/entrance area and protect it from the high winds. David wanted to let as much light as possible to flow into his hallway, so he went with clear VSG/ESG Safety Glass wall infills.
David had been looking for over a year for a company who could fabricate and install a custom entrance canopy, he was so pleased when he found Kappion!
The canopy drawings were signed off and David chose to have the structure powder coated in Anthracite Grey (RAL 7061) which blends in nicely with his front door. David chose clear structured polycarbonate for the roof, which would allow maximum light transmission in to his hallway/porch area.
Once a manufactured/delivered date had been confirmed, the installation team arranged a suitable date for the entrance canopy to be delivered and erected.
Once installation had started, the canopy took shape quickly. The structure was installed in the first few hours, and the glass infills took up the remainder of the installation time – the entrance canopy was completed in a single day.
