Paul and his wife approached us with a need for a patio canopy to cover their paved area at the rear of the house in Silverstone. Pauls wife suffers from insect allergies, so our canopy appealed to him as the simplicity of the design meant that he could install mosquito nets to the canopy to enclose it.
The initial visit to Silverstone was to confirm the size and configuration of the canopy, and also look at the ground. The area needed to be covered as efficiently as possible as Paul wanted to maximise the dry space where he can relax in the summer. We quickly determined that the canopy would be attached the house and the posts would need to go into the ground.
After our survey and final quote, our deposit was paid and so the CAD drawings were raised. Once the final revision had been signed off, Paul specified that he wanted the structure to be powder coated in Traffic White (RAL9016). Clear polycarbonate was chosen for the roof which would allow the maximum light transmission into the patio area.
Once the canopy had been manufactured to Pauls requirements, our team organised the installation date to suit him. The canopy installation got off to a swift start and we experienced no problems. By the end of the day, the structure was bolted together and glazed with polycarbonate.
Paul was ecstatic with the finished product as he now had a patio canopy solution that would last and keep him and his wife very happy. We made sure that all of Pauls needs were met and that he was provided with a stunning yet practical canopy.
