Our customer in Leeds approached us with a need for a curved carport for his home as he wanted to protect his vehicles from the high winds, precipitation and bird faeces. Our steel carport appealed to him so much as he recognised that it would provide much more effective, longer-lasting protection that an aluminium carport.
When we conducted our site survey an existing carport was already in place which Charlie wanted dismantling. We were happy to offer a demolition service which made the project easier and stress-free for Charlie.
Due to our expertise and experience and also Charlie’s coherence, the carport was relatively easy to design and we determined the post positions quickly. We decided that the carport would be better off wall-attached on the right-hand side.
Once the final sizes were decided upon we were able to supply Charlie with a value for money final price. As the project got underway, our team and Charlie signed off the final CAD drawings after going through various revisions.
Jet Black (RAL9005) was chosen for the powder coating which would complement and blend with the surroundings. Furthermore, Charlie chose clear polycarbonate for the roof as he wanted the space underneath the carport to be light.
Once the manufacturing process came to an end and we had Charlie’s canopy, we contacted him straight away to establish a suitable installation date. Our professional team made their way for Leeds and began the installation. Due to the planning, organisation of the project and experience of our fitting team, the installation itself was complete in just one day by two of our fitters.
