Marc approached us with a requirement for one of our Qubik style carports to provide protection to his vehicles from the weather elements and bird excrement falling from nearby trees. Marc loved the aesthetics of our Qubik style which features chunky posts and the wrap around fascia.
Shortly after Marc made his enquiry, he and our project manager arranged a suitable date for our surveyor to come and conduct the survey. During the survey, we scanned the space with our high tech scanning kit and created a 3D video walkthrough video for our customer. The 3D visual showed Marc that we could design the canopy so that it would fit the space perfectly, helping him visualise the finished product.
Marc signed the final drawings off and asked for his structure to be powder coated in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey to blend into the surroundings and his block-paved driveway. He chose opal polycarbonate for the roof glazing to give the canopy a modern and contemporary feel.
Planning permission wasn’t necessary as the carport would be installed to the right side of his property. Once the canopy structure had be manufactured, Marc and our project manager arranged a suitable date for our fitters to deliver and erect the Qubik carport.
The Qubik Carport itself was fairly straightforward for our experienced fitting team. Aesthetics were a must to Marc due to the visibility of the carport from the street. By the end of the first day the canopy was level, secure and in the air. On the second day the installation team had to finish the roof, followed by a final wipe down and hand over with our customer.
