James reached out to us in need of a Carport Europort with rhombus shaped larch wooden infills. The Rhombus shaped Larch infills not only look amazing but also provide great protection from the prevailing winds and driving rain.
After receiving James’ enquiry, we arranged a site visit where we conducted a survey. We knew that James’ Carport Europort Canopy would need to be wall attached and have 3 posts on the opposite side of the canopy to accompany the infills. The rhombus shaped larch infills were treated before installation. With the canopy being 8 metres long, we needed to add in an extra post in the middle to make the canopy as sturdy as possible.
Since the carport did not require planning permission, we got the project moving really quickly. James then signed the final drawings off and asked for his carport with timber infills to be powder coated in ‘Jet Black Textured’ (RAL9005), which would blend with the surroundings and his property. We apply a transparent varnish to the rhombus shaped larch wooden infills, which gives it a classy finish. James decided on opal polycarbonate for the roof glazing which would complement the jet black framework and wooden infills nicely.
Once a manufactured delivered date had been confirmed, the installation team arranged a suitable date for the canopy to be delivered and erected.
Finally, the installation of the carport with timber infills was very easy for our professional team. Two days were required to complete the installation. After a final wipe down and walk around, we handed over the carport to James, who was more than happy.
