Our customer Hazel approached us with a requirement for a carport and a storage room to cover her vehicles and gardening equipment. Hazel wanted something classy and substantial. We have undoubtedly provided her with the best solution.
After a number of conversations with our sales and technical team, Hazel decided to go ahead with a site survey so that we could scan the area and create a 3D video walkthrough for her and her husband Steve. The 3D visual showed them that we could design the canopy so that it fits the space perfectly, covering the desired area. As well as this, the visual showcased the aesthetics reassuring Hazel that the canopy would look stunning.
The final price for the solution was as expected and once Hazel placed her order, our design engineers quickly started the engineering drawings. We had to check that the drawings included particular custom elements of the solution such as wall-attached cranked posts, swing doors and infill trims. The drawings were signed off as Hazel and Steve were happy and before we knew it the canopy was being manufactured.
Hazel requested for the canopy to be powder-coated in RAL 9005 (Jet Black) as she loved the contemporary modern look and also wanted the carport to match her black guttering. Clear polycarbonate was selected for the roof material as Hazel wanted as much light as possible to flood underneath the canopy and onto the drive and into her storage room.
Hazel wanted 3 different infill materials. On the left side of the carport she wanted slatted aluminium infills, solid larch on the front wall and door of the storage room and clear polycarbonate on the rear wall and door of the storage room, keeping it light and airy.
Once the canopy had been manufactured we arranged a suitable installation date with Hazel. We try to be as flexible as possible so that all of our customers needs are met.
After just three days, the whole canopy solution had been erected, concreted into the ground, secured to the property and enclosed with infills. Needless to say our customer was over the moon with the finished product and the service that she had received throughout the project.
As all of our canopies are bespoke, we were able overcome any obstacle and we could satisfy Hazel’s needs.
