Our customer, Adrian, approached us in search of a canopy that would cover and protect his motorhome. Adrian wanted to ensure his motorhome would be fully protected from the elements so he decided to have a Stormshield installed on three of the sides. Our Stormshields are just 25% permeable so they are extremely effective stopping wind and rain from entering the space beneath the canopy.
As aesthetics were a top priority for Adrian his motorhome canopy had to match the guttering, downpipes and roller doors on his garage. Therefore Adrian chose to have his canopy powder-coated in Jet Black (RAL 9005), giving it a modern and contemporary look.
During our survey with Adrian we discussed the sizes and location of the motorhome canopy. He had an existing tent like shelter in place which was removed prior to our installation. Adrian wanted something more permanent, structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing. He also wanted the canopy to have a height of 3 metres to accommodate all of his vehicles.
We scanned the area using our top of the range pointcloud scanner, which captures all of the needed data required for the engineering drawings. The canopy install itself was going to be straight forward as Adrian wanted it to be installed in a big open space.
Adrian then signed off the final production drawings, requesting for his structure to be powder coated in (RAL9005) Jet Black fine textured, with clear polycarbonate and black stormshield infills.
Our project manager confirmed the manufacture date and then contacted Adrian and organised an installation date that best suited his busy schedule. Due to the efficiency of our team, we managed to complete the installation in the time planned.
