This free-standing carport provided our customer with a premium solution and offered full coverage and protection from the elements. Phillip approached us wanting a sizeable carport to be installed infront of his property. We have undoubtedly provided Phillip with the best carport solution.
Firstly, aesthetics were a huge factor for Philip as he lives on a corner lot, next to the road. He wanted something simple yet elegant and a structurally sound carport canopy that would provide him and his vehicle with the utmost protection.
During the survey with Phillip, we discussed the size of the carport, the post positions and the ground level. We used our high tech laser scanner to determine the exact size of the space and therefore the proposed carport. Our scanner captures a detailed scan of the desired area and transfers them into a point cloud file. Our designers can then begin designing the carport to fit the space perfectly and create a 3D visual for customers.
Philip loved the 3D visual and accepted the final price. He asked for the canopy to be powder-coated in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey. Philip wanted the roof to be glazed in clear structured polycarbonate which is ideal for maximising the sunlight. The polycarbonate has a protective UV layer so it looks after the humans and pets below.
Philip placed his order and our design engineers quickly started the engineering drawings.
Once the carport had been manufactured, our project manager got in touch with Philip to organise a suitable installation date.
The installation of the free-standing carport was installed with ease. This style of carport is fairly straightforward for our fitters. The full canopy construction had been installed in 1 day! Our fitting team gave the canopy a final wipe down and handed over to Philip who was over the moon with his brand new Kappion carport!
