Our customer, Peter, approached us in need of a carport to cover the driveway space in front of his garage at his property in Wales. He wanted a solution that would fit the space as effectively as possible.
Peter initially made his enquiry through our website, and was pleased with the estimated price handed to him. We arranged to undertake a site survey and design consultation. During the design consultation we established how we would install the posts, attach the carport to the property and fill the space as efficiently as possible. Peter wanted to extend the gutter past his garage, for aesthetic purposes. We also talked through colours, polycarbonate options ect.
After the survey:
Following the site survey we sent Peter his 3D visual, which he loved! Although he was concered about the height of the canopy, he wanted to ensure that the carport was sitting at the correct height, slightly below the top of his garage fasica. After resolving the height issue, Peter accepted our final price.
The carport drawings were created and shortly after, signed off. RAL 9016 Traffic White and RAL 1011 Brown Beige was specified for the canopy structure as it would match the property. Peter wanted the gutter and wall attached posts to match the white on his property. Additionaly, he wanted the eaves beam, rafters and posts on the left side to all be RAL 1011 brown biege as it is the closest match to the bricks on his garage.
Once the carport had been manufactured, our team arranged a suitable date for the carport to be taken to site and installed. As expected, the carport fit the space perfectly and was fully installed within just a few days. Peter was thrilled with the how well it blended in with and complemented his property.
