Our customer, Dean, approached us in search of a made-to-measure motorhome canopy to cover his driveway area. The canopy needed to be manufactored in such a way that the posts and rafters would avoid his tree….which ultimately could not be removed. Our beautiful motorhome canopy was the perfect solution and certainly the way forward!
Although we aren’t local to Doncaster, we install carports and canopies all over England and Wales and Dean knew that we could equip him with the best solution.
After our estimated price was well received, we organised a site survey and design consultation with Dean. We discussed every aspect of the project and agreed that the motorhome canopy would be free standing and span the full width and length of the drive. The 3D scans taken on site were then used to create a 3D video walkthrough of the canopy, showing it in situ. Dean was over the moon with the design so we calculated a final price for him.
The final price met Dean’s expectations so he placed an order with us and our engineers started the CAD drawings. Dean asked for the canopy structure to be powder-coated in RAL 8019 Grey Brown and for the roof to be glazed in bronze polycarbonate. As you can see from the photos above, this combination works very well and bronze polycarbonate is perfect for areas where there are a lot of trees.
Once the canopy had been manufactured, our project manager arranged a suitable date for the carport to be delivered and erected. The structure was fully installed within just two days. Dean and his wife were overjoyed with their brand new Kappion Canopy!
