Our customer Anna reached out to us in search of a modern Carport, something that wouldn’t look out of place next to her property. She had looked around at our The Qubik and Europort are our 2 most modern and stylish solutions. Anna preferred the look of the Europort so she requested a quote for a 5.5m x 5.5m.
Anna received the estimate well and after a number of conversations with our sales and technical team, she decided to go ahead with a site survey so that our surveyor could discuss and answer any further questions she might have. On-site, our surveyor scans the area using our clever high-tech scanning equipment, collecting all the relevant data and measurements. Once back at the office, our designers are then able to create a 3D video walkthrough for our customer.
After the survey:
The 3D visual showed Anna that we could design the canopy so that it would fit the space perfectly, covering the desired area. As well as this, the visual showcased the aesthetics reassuring Anna that the canopy would look stunning and how it would be seen from all angles. During the site survey, Anna asked if she could see two canopy heights. One at 2.3m and another at 2.7m. After seeing the visuals she decided the 2.3m looks the best and was the most appropriate.
The final price for the solution was as expected and once Anna placed her order, our designers quickly began the engineering drawings. We had to check that the drawings included particular custom elements of the solution such as 2 sections of Aluminium infills, infill trims and so on. The drawings were signed off as Anna was happy and before we knew it the canopy was being manufactured.
Anna requested for the Europort to be powder-coated in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey as she loved the contemporary modern look and also wanted the carport to match her property. As we have an array of colour options, 9 times out of 10 we can find a close, if not perfect match to your requested colour. Bronze polycarbonate was selected for the roof material as it is the most efficient when it comes to fallen debris from trees and bird excrement.
Once the canopy had been manufactured we arranged a suitable installation date with Anna. We try to be as flexible as possible so that all of our customer’s needs are met.
Subsequently, the canopy had been completed in just 2 days. Within those 2 days, the whole canopy solution had been erected, concreted into the ground, attached to the house, and the fascia and polycarbonate installed. Needless to say, our customer was over the moon with the finished product and the service that she had received throughout the project.
