Graham approached us in need of a motorhome canopy. He wanted a canopy installed next to his barn that would protect his motorhome from the driving rain and weather elements. We have undoubtedly provided him with just that!
After our estimated price was well received, we organised a site survey and design consultation with Graham. We discussed every aspect of the project and agreed that the motorhome canopy would be free-standing and the 3 posts on the left side would have to go on the other side of the fence to ensure there was enough space on either side of the motorhome. The 3D scans taken on-site were then used to create a 3D video walkthrough of the motorhome canopy, showing it in situ. Graham was over the moon with the design so we calculated a final price for him.
The final price met Graham’s expectations so he placed an order with us and our engineers started the CAD drawings. Graham asked for the canopy structure to be powder-coated in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey and for the roof to be glazed in bronze polycarbonate. As you can see from the photos above, this combination works very well and bronze polycarbonate is perfect for areas where there are a lot of trees.
Once the carport had been manufactured, our project manager arranged a suitable date for the carport to be delivered and erected. Installation was fairly simple… our guys fully installed the canopy in just 2 days! Graham was absolutely overjoyed with his brand new Kappion Motorhome Canopy!
