Derek, our customer approached us in search of a made-to-measure patio canopy so that he could enjoy the outdoors for longer, all under cover. We surveyed and collected the dimensions of the property, all this data was collected on our very clever scanner & point-cloud software.
After a few conversations with our sales and technical teams, Derek decided to go ahead with a site survey so that we could scan the area and create a 3D video walkthrough for him. The 3D visual showed how we would install the patio canopy so that it fits the space perfectly, covering the desired area. As well as this, the visual shows the beautiful aesthetics, reassuring Derek that the canopy would look stunning against his property!
Derek loved the 3d visual and accepted their final price. He asked for the canopy to be powder-coated in 5013 Cobalt Blue, which is a deep but bright and almost metallic blue. Derek wanted the roof to be glazed in clear structured polycarbonate – ideal for maximising the sunlight. The polycarbonate has a protective UV layer so it looks after the humans below perfectly.
Order Placed:
Derek placed his order and our design engineers quickly started the engineering drawings.
Once the canopy had been manufactured we arranged a suitable installation date with Derek. We try to be as flexible as possible so that all of our customer’s needs are met.
Subsequently, the canopy had been completed in just 2 days. Within those 2 days, the whole canopy solution had been erected, concreted into the ground and the polycarbonate installed. Needless to say, Derek was over the moon with the finished product and the service that they had received throughout the project.
