Steve & Christina approached us in search of a made-to-measure motorhome canopy to cover their motorhome vehicle. We needed to get the dimensions of the property in order to work out the height and length in which was needed for the motorhome canopy, all this data is collected on our very clever scanner & point-cloud software.
After a few conversations with our sales and technical team, Steve & Christina decided to go ahead with a site survey so that we could scan the area and create a 3D video walkthrough for them. The 3D visual showed how we would fit the motorhome canopy so that it fits the space perfectly, covering the desired area. As well as this, the visual shows the beautiful aesthetics, reassuring them both that the canopy would look stunning against their property, even if it is huge!
Steve & Christina loved the 3d visual and accepted their final price. They asked for their canopy to be powder-coated in 9005 Jet Black as they wanted the canopy to blend in with the guttering on their property. Steve & Christina wanted the roof to be glazed in bronze structured polycarbonate – ideal for shade from direct sunlight but it still allows the light to flood in. It is also the most efficient when it comes to fallen debris from trees and bird excrement.
Steve wanted to ensure that his motorhome was fully protected, he, therefore, opted for our stormshield infills to protect from driving weather. These are 75% permeable and really do a good job at stopping the driving weather and rain.
Order Placed:
Steve & Christina placed their order and our design engineers quickly started the engineering drawings.
Once the canopy had been manufactured we arranged a suitable installation date with Steve & Christina. We try to be as flexible as possible so that all of our customer’s needs are met.
Subsequently, the canopy had been completed in just 3 days. Within those 3 days, the whole canopy solution had been erected, concreted into the ground, the stormshield infills and polycarbonate installed. Needless to say, our customer was over the moon with the finished product and the service that they had received throughout the project.
