After several conversations with our sales and technical team, Keith decided to go ahead with a site survey so that we could scan the area and create a 3D video walkthrough for him. The 3D visual showed him that we could design the carport so that it fits the space perfectly, covering the desired area. As well as this, the visual showcased the aesthetics reassuring Keith that the carport would look stunning.

After the survey:

Keith loved the 3D visual and the final price for the solution was as expected. Once he placed his order, our design engineers quickly started the engineering drawings. We had to check that the drawings included particular custom elements of the solution such as the internal downpipe outlet inside the post, rafters etc. The drawings were signed off as Keith was happy and before we knew it the canopy had entered the manufacturing process.

Keith wanted his canopy to be contemporary and compliment his property, therefore he chose to have his carport powder-coated in RAL 9005 Jet Black. Opal polycarbonate was selected for the roof material. This combination works very well and Opal polycarbonate is ideal for shade from the direct sunlight but it still allows lots of light to flood in.

Once the canopy had been manufactured we arranged a suitable installation date with our customer. We try to be as flexible as possible so that all of our customer’s needs are met.

Subsequently, the canopy had been completed in just 4 hours! Within those 4 hours, the whole canopy solution had been erected, concreted into the ground and secured to the property. Needless to say, our customer was over the moon with the finished product and the service that he had received throughout the project.
