We recently wrapped up a fantastic installation in Lancaster, giving Rodney’s beautiful home a stylish and functional addition. Rodney needed a high-quality shelter to keep his pride and joy vehicles safe from the unpredictable British weather—and we were more than happy to deliver!

The Vision: Spacious, Stylish Weather Protection
Parking two cars comfortably while maintaining easy driving access requires thoughtful planning. Rodney wanted maximum clearance without compromising structural strength, combined with a modern finish to complement his home’s aesthetic.

Maximum Post Span for Easy Parking
Nobody wants to squeeze out of a car or worry about clipping a side mirror on a support post. To give Rodney full driving space and effortless maneuvering, we engineered the structure with maximum span between the support posts. The wide opening makes pulling in and out completely hassle-free.
A Bold, Modern Colour Combination
To match the architecture of the home, Rodney chose a timeless combination:
- RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey: Provides a clean, modern finish for the aluminium framework.
- Bronze Polycarbonate: Offers fantastic durability against rain, hail, and debris while filtering harsh sunlight and adding a warm tint.
Smart Water Harvesting & Plannja Guttering
Customisation doesn’t stop at the frame. Rodney had a specific request regarding rainwater management: he wanted to harvest rainwater to keep his garden thriving.
To achieve this:
- We integrated high-performance Plannja guttering, allowing us to create an overhang setup.
- We fitted an external downpipe positioned exactly where Rodney needed it.
- This design allows him to easily hook up a new water butt at a later date, turning rainfall into a free, eco-friendly garden resource.
From maximum driving clearance to custom drainage for future water recycling, this build was all about tailoring the structure to fit Rodney’s exact lifestyle.
