Our customer Brian, approached us with a requirement for a quarter curved carport. As Brian wanted his carport to be installed at the side of his property, this meant aesthetics were very important. Our most stylish canopy was the ideal choice for Brian with its premium quality and extremely contemporary appearance.
Firstly the initial visit to Kings Lynn was to discuss Brian’s needs, the area was relatively straightforward to cover. We wanted to make sure that we maximised the use of the space to provide Brian with the best solution. We were able to do this using our high tech 3D scanning equipment to scan the area.
Our scanner collects all of the data and translates it into a point cloud file. We then design the canopy within the point cloud, ensuring it will fit the space perfectly. Our designer(s) then create a 3D video walkthrough to show our customer. Most importantly, helping our customers visualise the final product.
After the survey:
The canopy drawings were signed off after we raised the CAD drawings following the site survey, and Brian chose to have the structure powder-coated in RAL 9005 Jet Black, which compliments his property very well. Furthermore, Brian chose opal polycarbonate for the roof which provides light, privacy, and a clean, contemporary finish.
Once a manufactured/delivered date had been confirmed, the installation team arranged a suitable date for the carport canopy to be delivered and erected. The canopy took shape quite quickly. The structure was bolted together, secured, and concreted into the ground on the first day ready for the polycarbonate to be installed.
In conclusion, Brian loved his brand new Kappion carport and we were proud to deliver a safe high quality product at an affordable price.
