During the survey, we discussed the size of the carport, the post positions, possible infill options, polycarbonate options and so on.
On-site, we use our high tech laser scanner to determine the exact size of the space and therefore the proposed carport. Our scanner captures a detailed scan of the desired area and transfers them into a point cloud file. Our designers can then begin designing the carport to fit the space perfectly and create a 3D visual for customers.
Clive loved his 3D visual and accepted the final price. He asked for his carport to be powder-coated in RAL 9005 Jet Black fine textured. Clive wanted the roof to be glazed in bronze structured polycarbonate which is ideal for hiding bird faeces, and falling debris from trees. The polycarbonate has a protective UV layer so it protects humans and cars below.
Shortly after accepting the final price, Clive’s carport was sent into production! Once the carport has been manufactured and a manufactured date had been confirmed, our project management team arranged a date for the installation team to deliver and erect the Qubik carport. Our second-to-none customer service meant that Clive was constantly kept in the loop, which he was very pleased about.
Once installation began, the Qubik took shape fairly quickly when taking the size into account. The installation took a total of one day by the Kappion team, including Sebastian the Spider Crane, taking the weight out of the 120kgs (each) steel concealed gutters!
Clive and was really happy with the result and parked his car underneath straight away!
Kappion delivers; we provided our customer with a bespoke Qubik carport solution that ticked all of the boxes!
Clive commented: Yes, it looks just brilliant!
