Our customer Charles approached us in search of a bespoke carport to cover the area outside his side door, driveway and garage. Charles made his initial enquiry through our website on the ‘Get Estimate’ page. Our estimated price was well received, so we organised a site survey and design consultation with Charles. We use advanced scanners to obtain detailed survey data, which enables us to model a carport that will fit like a glove – we are millimetre perfect!
On-site, we discussed every aspect of the project and agreed that the carport would consist of Two styles. One half curve canopy in front of the garage and one quarter curved canopy attached to the half curve and the house. Charles was very clear that he did not want any intermediate posts on the gutter and beam combo which connected both canopy styles…this meant that we had to up the steel and bespoke manufacture a large valley gutter and beam combo.
The 3D scans taken on-site were then used to create a 3D video walkthrough of the carport, showing it in situ. Charles was over the moon with the design and positioning so we calculated a final price for him.
Order Placed:
The final price met Charles’ expectations so he placed his order with us and our engineers quickly began the CAD drawings. Charles asked for the carport structure to be powder-coated in RAL 9005 Jet Black fine textured finish. Furthermore, Charles asked for the roof to be glazed in bronze polycarbonate….which is the most effective when it comes to hiding debris from the sky and surrounding trees.
Once the carport had been manufactured, our project manager arranged a suitable date for the carport to be delivered and erected. The large structure was fully installed within just two days. This bespoke carport fits like a glove, maximising the space completely. Charles couldn’t be happier with his brand new Kappion Canopy!
