Installed back in December just before the Christmas break, this stunning contemporary Europort Carport features 3 walls of solid larch timber and an electric roller door.
Our customer Barry made his enquiry through our website early last year. Initially, Barry enquired about a 3m x 5m Qubik Carport but later decided that a double Europort would be the best solution. We sent Barry an estimated price for a 5.5m x 5.4m Europort Carport with 3 sides of solid larch infills. Barry swiftly came back to us letting us know that he’s ok with the estimate and would like to go forward with a site survey…
Our project manager organised a suitable date that worked well with both our and Barry’s schedules. During the site survey, our surveyor spoke with Barry about all of his needs and requirements whilst also providing some advice and ideas of what the best solution would be. On-site, we use our high tech scanning equipment to collect all of the needed data and measurements.
After the survey:
Following the site survey, our designers sent over a 3D visual walkthrough to Barry of the carport in his area along with the final price. Overall, Barry loved the visual but wanted to change a few minor things. Once all of the amendments had been made, Barry was ready to sign off his drawings.
After Barry signed off his drawings, we sent this straight into production. Barry requested for his canopy to be powder-coated in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey with structured opal polycarbonate sheets installed on the roof. As Barry wanted to enclose his canopy with infills, we showed him our infill options and he opted for solid larch, a great choice if you ask me! Of course, Barry wanted a roller door for his carport also. Although we do not manufacture these, we can source and install them. This is included in the final price.
Once Barry’s Europort Carport had been manufactured, our project manager organised an installation date that worked well with Barry’s schedule. This Europort carport took a total of 4.5 days to install. The first day was all about securing the structure concreting into the ground, the second day was spent installing the polycarbonate sheets onto the roof and getting a start on the solid larch infills. the final 2 days were spent finalising the infills and installing the electric roller door. Once the installation was complete, our fitters had a final wipe down and cleared up the area. They then handed over the Carport to Barry.
Barry was ecstatic with the outcome and could not wait to get his Porsche parked in his brand new Kappion Carport!
