Qubik Carport installed in Burton-on-Trent

Tony, our customer, approached us with a requirement for a Qubik carport attached to the front of his garage as he wanted to protect his vehicle from the high winds, bird faeces, and any falling debris from the skies above. He loved the look of our Qubik carport design with the chunky posts & gutters. He knew we could deliver a built-to-last solution.

Firstly, aesthetics were very important to Tony as he lives on a corner lot, meaning the canopy would be quite visible to his neighbours. Our Qubik design is extremely beautiful, contemporary and has the ability to transform any space, so I doubt the neighbours would have an issue.

During the survey with Tony, we discussed the size of the carport, the post positions, wall attached posts and infill options. We used our high tech laser scanner to determine the exact size of the space and therefore the proposed carport. Our scanner captures a detailed scan of the desired area and transfers them into a point cloud file. Our designers can then begin designing the carport to fit the space perfectly and create a 3D visual for customers.

Tony loved his 3D visual and accepted the final price. He asked for the canopy to be powder-coated in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey and wanted 1 wall of rhombus-shaped 25mm spaced larch infills. Tony wanted the roof to be glazed in bronze structured polycarbonate which is ideal for hiding bird faeces, and falling debris from trees. The polycarbonate has a protective UV layer so it protects the humans and pets below.

Order Placed:

Once a manufactured date had been confirmed, our project manager arranged a date for the installation team to delivered and erect the carport. Our second-to-none customer service meant that Tony was constantly kept updated which he was very happy about.

Once installation began, the canopy took shape fairly quickly. The installation took a total of 2 days. The 2nd day was spent glazing the canopy roof with polycarbonate, finishing off the wall of infills and cleaning up the area.

Tony was overjoyed with the result and can’t wait to get out and use the new space! We provided our customer with a bespoke canopy solution that ticked all of his boxes!
