Double Curved Carport & Patio Canopy installed in Bridgwater

Our customer Mr Griffin reached out to us with the requirement for a custom carport and patio canopy solution. Mr Griffin needed a carport that would provide protection for his vehicles but also protect the patio area at the rear of his property. We previously installed a custom L-shape carport & patio canopy which is the same sort of concept as Mr Griffins. Due to the sizes of Mr Griffin’s canopy, the quarter curved style wouldn’t particularly work in the area. The eaves height would end up being too high, taking away the aesthetic aspect. The half curve style is the most efficient and best looking solution for his area.

After various discussions with our sales and technical team, Mr Griffin proceeded with a site survey. During the site survey we used our high tech scanner to scan the area and create a 3D video walkthrough. The 3D visual showed Mr Griffin that we could design the canopy so that it fits the space perfectly, covering both spaces. As well as this, the visual showcased the aesthetics reassuring our customer that the canopy would look stunning in situ.

The final price for the carport and canopy solution was as expected and once Mr Griffin paid his deposit, our design engineers began putting the engineering drawings together. We had to ensure that the drawings included particular custom elements of the solution such as wall-attached cranked posts. The drawings were signed off as Mr Griffin was happy with the price and the design solution. 

Mr Griffin requested clear polycarbonate to glaze the roof, as he wanted as much light as possible to enter the carport and canopy. Anthracite Grey was the chosen RAL colour to powder coat the structure. Anthracite grey is one of our most popular colours as it provides any space with a modern and contemporary look.

Once the canopy had been manufactured our project manager arranged a suitable date for the carport and patio canopy to be erected. We try to be as flexible as possible so that all of our customers needs are requirements are met. 

After just two days, the whole canopy solution had been erected, concreted into the ground, secured to the property and glazed with polycarbonate. Needless to say our customer was over the moon with the finished product and the service that he had received throughout the entire project. We were definitely the right company for Mr Griffin as we could design and manufacture an all-in-one integrated solution for him.
