Andrew, our customer, approached us with a requirement for a double carport which he wanted installing at the front of his garage. Andrew wanted to enclose the left side of his canopy and install a remote control roller door at the front.
Andrews main aim was to keep his Aston Martin well protected and somewhat hidden but with something stylish to match his property. After considering many other solutions on the market, he knew that the strength and style of our double carport would tick all of the boxes.
Following the initial estimate, Andrew was happy with our price and organised a site survey and design consultation. Consequently, we used our 3D scanner to take all of the measurements and create a 3D visual of the double carport in situ, complete with an electric roller door and VSG safety glass infills to the left for added protection.
Andrew wanted his carport to sit flush against his garage and entryway to his driveway. Therefore the double carport had to be tapered. In fact, there isn’t a 90-degree angle on the carport!
After accepting his final price we engineered the drawings which Andrew signed off with a request for the structure to be powder-coated in RAL 9005 Jet Black to complement his vehicle. Furthermore, Andrew wanted clear polycarbonate for the roof glazing as it keeps the canopy light and airy.
Once an installation date had been confirmed, the installation team arranged a suitable date for the double tapered carport to be delivered and erected. Our professional fitting team very quickly installed the structure and by the end of the second day, the infills and remote control roller door were fully installed.
Shortly after completion, we had a final wipe down and hand over with Andrew who was over the moon, knowing he could sleep easy with his car being protected. Another very satisfied customer who got exactly what he asked for!
