Installed in Market Harborough…this stunning Europort-Carport and Fencing solution. Bill, our customer reached out to us back in 2018 with his enquiry but had to place the job on hold for a chunk of time to deal with a few complexities.
After submitting his initial enquiry for a 5.5m x 5.5m carport, Bill wanted to add a section to the carport, which effectively made it L-shaped. This additional section would cover the porch area, allowing Bill and his family to exit the car and enter the house whilst keeping dry. We sent Bill his updated quote for the L-shaped carport along with a replacement fence to match the carport.
Bill was pleased with the price at hand but wanted to ensure he would receive planning permission first. Therefore, Bill applied for planning permission…and a number of months later he received his answer. Planning permission had been granted! A huge relief! As previously mentioned, Bill decided to put the canopy process on pause but returned to us back in January.
With the ball rolling again, Our surveyor went out to visit Bill and Judith at their home to take some scans and talk through the project with them. On-site, our surveyor scans the area using our clever high-tech scanning equipment, collecting all the relevant data and measurements. Once back at the office, our designers are then able to create a 3D video walkthrough for our customers.
After the survey:
The 3D visual showed Bill and Judith that we could design the canopy so that it would fit the space perfectly, covering the desired area. As well as this, the visual showcased the aesthetics reassuring them that the canopy would look stunning, showing from all angles. Both loved the visual, so we calculated the final price, which they accepted! After accepting the final price, we sent Bill’s canopy drawings into production!
Powdercoated in Anthracite Grey RAL 7016 (our most popular) with the choice of structured Opal polycarbonate sheets glazing the roof. In the fence, Bill wanted a combination of rhombus-shaped spaced larch and solid WPC infills. The WPC has been cut and angled to line up with the sloped driveway, and effectively used as a gravel board. A very clean and contemporary finish!
Once the carport and fence combo had been manufactured, our project manager got in touch with Bill and Judith the arrange a suitable date for installation. The installation took a total of 3.5 days which is pretty speedy when taking into account the size and the number of infills and cut-outs.
