Mike approached us with a requirement for a patio canopy to cover his paved area at the rear of his property. During the summer months, Mike enjoys entertaining outside in the garden and spending time with family and friends. Now with his brand new Kappion canopy, Mike can do that all year round!
After Mike’s enquiry, we arranged a site visit where we would conduct our survey. During our survey, we used our high tech 3D scanner to scan the area. The area was relatively small and uncomplicated so we knew that we would be able to meet the needs of our customers efficiently. Whilst on-site, we decided that the canopy would be attached to the property using 4 wall attached cranked posts, general design and height.
Once back in the office, our designer began creating Mike’s canopy and ultimately came up with the perfect model which suited all of Mike’s needs and requirements. Mike loved the 3D visual we put together for him and later on accepted his final price. We then began engineering the canopy drawings which Mike promptly signed off.
Mike requested for the structure to be powder-coated in RAL 9016 Traffic White fine-textured to complement his property and the surroundings. Furthermore, Mike opted for Clear polycarbonate for the carport, keeping it light and airy.
Once a manufactured delivered date had been confirmed, the installation team arranged a suitable date for the canopy to be delivered and erected.
The installation of Mike’s patio canopy took shape relatively quickly had been fully installed in just 1 day! The canopy sits snug between two rooms at the rear and blends in with its surroundings perfectly! The canopy and provides great protection from the driving weather, we even made the polycarbonate overhang the extension as much as possible.
Mike couldn’t wait to sit out and have a nice cup of tea and pretty much straight away the heavens opened. Mike sent us an update shortly after… “Now, after a heavy downpour in the past half hour, even more pleasing.”
