On-site, we use our high-tech laser scanner to determine the exact size of the space and therefore the proposed Qubik carport/canopy. Our scanner captures a detailed scan of the desired area and transfers them into a point cloud file. Our designers can then begin designing the Qubik to fit the space perfectly and create a 3D visual for customers.
Edd & Karen loved their 3D visual and accepted the final price. They asked for the structures to be powder-coated in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey fine textured. Edd wanted the roof to be glazed in Opal structured polycarbonate which hides the debris and keeps the carport looking fresh, and because it’s white in appearance it reflects the light really well. The polycarbonate has a protective UV layer so it protects humans and cars below.
Order Placed:
Shortly after accepting the final price, Edd’s Qubik solution was sent into production! Once the structure has been manufactured and a manufactured date had been confirmed, our project management team arranged a date for the installation team to deliver and erect the Qubik carport/canopy. Our second-to-none customer service meant that Edd and Karen were constantly kept in the loop, which they were really pleased about.
Once installation began, the Qubik took shape fairly quickly when taking into account the size, glass infills, Aluminium infills, double swing gate and single swing gate installed on the RHS of the property. The installation took a total of 5 days by the Kappion team, including Sebastian the Spider Crane, taking the weight out of the 120kgs (each) steel integrated gutters!
Edd & Karen were very pleased with the result and parked their motorhome underneath straight away! Kappion delivers; we provided our customer with a bespoke Qubik carport/canopy solution that ticked all of the boxes!
