Jasper approached us with a requirement for a double Qubik carport canopy to replace his old carport. He loved the aesthetics of our Qubik style. For example, the chunky posts and the wrap around fascia. Jasper was having his front garden and driveway landscaped so we had to fit around his plans. We worked closely with Jasper’s building company to ensure that everything fitted and that we collaborated.
Jasper signed the final drawings off and asked for the structure to be powder coated in Anthracite Grey (RAL7016), which would blend into the surroundings and his freshly landscaped driveway. He chose opal polycarbonate for the roof glazing to give the canopy a contemporary feel.
Planning permission did not need to be obtained as the carport was just a replacement for Jaspers old canopy. Once we had a manufacture completion date, the installation team arranged a suitable date for our fitters to deliver and erect the carport.
The Qubik Carport Canopy itself was a straightforward task as the area was open and spacious. Aesthetics and location of the carport were critical to Jasper as it needed to complement the beautiful surrounding area. By the end of the first day the canopy was level, secure and in the air. On the second day the installation team had to finish the roof, followed by a final wipe down and hand over with Jasper.
