Wall attached Carport installed in Cambridge

Our customer Walter approached us with a requirement for a wall carport. We sent him over an estimated price for our quarter curved style, which Walter was pleased with. Therefore, we arranged a suitable date to visit Walter at his home and conduct the site survey.

Firstly the initial visit to Cambridge was to discuss Walter’s needs and requirements. The area was relatively straightforward to cover as it was down the side of his property, with no obstructions in the way. We wanted to make sure that we maximised the space available to provide Walter with the best solution possible. We were able to do this using our high tech 3D scanning equipment.

Our scanner collects all of the data and translates it into a point cloud file. We then design the canopy within the point cloud, ensuring it fits the space perfectly. Our designers then create a 3D video walkthrough to show our customers. Most importantly, helping our customers visualise the final product.

After the survey:

Shortly after, the 3D visual had been processed, we sent it over to Walter for him to review and fingers crossed…approve. Walter loved the visual and explained it was exactly what he had envisioned. Walter gave us the go-ahead and paid his 25% deposit.

Once a manufactured/delivered date had been confirmed, the installation team arranged a suitable date for the carport to be delivered and erected. The canopy took shape quite quickly. The structure was bolted together, secured, and concreted into the ground all on the first day ready for the polycarbonate to be installed.

Walter loved his brand new Kappion carport and we were proud to deliver a safe high-quality product at an affordable price.
