Jonathan reached out to us back in July, in search of a made-to-measure carport to cover his driveway area at the side of his house and in front of his garage. Jonathan wanted to infill any gaps below the gutter, for aesthetic reasons. We install carports and canopies all over England and Wales so travelling down to Dorset was not an issue for us.
Our estimated price was well received by Jonathan, so the next step was to come out and conduct a site survey. During the survey, we discussed every aspect of the project and agreed that the quarter curved style was the best solution for the space. We showed Jonathan what infill options we provide, and he decided on the aluminium choice.
The 3D scans taken on-site were then used to create a 3D video walkthrough of the canopy, showing it in situ. Jonathan was over the moon with the design so we calculated a final price for him.
Order Placed:
The final price met Jonathan’s expectations so he placed his order with us and our engineers quickly began the CAD drawings. Jonathan asked for the canopy structure to be powder-coated in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey fine textured finish to match his new roller shutter garage door.
Furthermore, Jonathan asked for the roof to be glazed in Clear polycarbonate. As you can see from the photos above, this combination works very well and clear polycarbonate allows lots of light to flood in.
Once the canopy had been manufactured, our project manager arranged a suitable date for the carport to be delivered and erected. The structure was fully installed within just two days. This quarter curved carport fits like a glove, maximising the space on the drive. Jonathan couldn’t be happier with his brand new Kappion Canopy!
