We recently headed over to Telford to work on a project that is incredibly special to us. Why? Because this marks our 10th+ job for this fantastic customer across their various sites. There is no greater compliment than a repeat client, and we are seriously proud of the trust they continue to place in our team.
Creating the Perfect Outdoor Workspace
The goal for this project was to create a vibrant, practical outdoor workspace for a classroom at a brand-new, contemporary primary school.
To complement the sleek, modern architecture of the school, we installed our signature Q-Curve canopy. Spanning an impressive 3×15 metres, this canopy provides a massive footprint for outdoor learning, messy play, and fresh-air activities—no matter what the British weather decides to do.

Smart Design, Seamless Installation
Every site has its quirks, but working with this client is always an absolute breeze. Because the ground on this new-build site was completely fresh and level, we didn’t even need to scan the area beforehand. We were able to get straight to work setting the posts, leaving the onsite team to easily finish the final ground level right around our structure.
We also integrated a few clever engineering details to keep the finish looking incredibly clean:
Zero Sealing Required: We tucked the canopy neatly underneath the building’s existing fascia. Because of this smart positioning, it requires absolutely no sealing or structural attachment to the school building itself—completely eliminating future maintenance or leak headaches.
Clean Drainage: The external downpipes are designed to extend directly into the finished floor level once the final groundwork is completed, keeping the look sleek and trip-hazard free.
Brighter Winter Months
By opting for 10mm clear polycarbonate roofing, the classroom doesn’t lose an ounce of sunshine. When the gloomier winter months roll around, the kids will still get maximum natural daylight while staying perfectly dry and sheltered.
