Perfect for all year round! Our customer Derek approached us in search of a made-to-measure alfresco patio canopy so that he could enjoy his outdoor patio and living space for longer, all undercover. We surveyed and collected the dimensions of the property and the patio area, all this data was collected on our high tech laser scanner and point-cloud software.
After making his enquiry and having had a few conversations with our sales and technical teams, Derek decided to go ahead with a site survey so that we could scan the area and create a 3D video walkthrough for him. The 3D visual showed how we would install the patio canopy so that it fits the space perfectly, covering the required area. As well as this, the visual shows the beautiful aesthetics, reassuring Derek and his wife that the canopy would look stunning against their property!
Derek loved the 3D visual and accepted the final price. Next, he asked for the canopy to be powder-coated in RAL 7032 Pebble Grey. Derek and his wife wanted the canopy roof to be glazed in clear structured polycarbonate – ideal for maximising light transmission. The polycarbonate has a protective UV layer so it looks after and shades the humans and pets below perfectly.
Shortly after seeing his 3D visual, Derek placed his order with us. Our design engineers quickly started the engineering drawings, ready for manufacturing. Once the canopy had been manufactured we arranged a suitable installation date with Derek. We try to be as flexible as possible so that ALL of our customer’s needs are met.
Subsequently, the canopy had been completed in just ONE day! Amazing! Within that day, the whole canopy solution had been erected, concreted into the ground, fixed to the property, polycarbonate installed and flashed. Needless to say, Derek and his family absolutely loved the finished product and the service that they had received throughout the project.
