Andrew approached us in search of a made-to-measure motorhome canopy to cover his motorhome vehicle. Andrew recently had a new garage built, along side a long concrete slab, intended for his motorhome canopy. With the installation of the concrete slab, we decided to do bolt-to-surface leg posts. We needed to get the dimensions of Andrew’s garage in order to workout the height and length in which was needed for the motorhome canopy.
After Andrew’s enquiry, we organised a site survey.
During our site visit, we used our Leica scanner to take a 360 degree scan of the area. The scanner takes in all of the dimensions of the needed area which allows us to calculate the size and the best fit for Andrew’s bespoke motorhome canopy. We then determined the final design, frame colour and polycarbonate colour. With that information, we put together a final price for Andrew, which he gladly accepted!
Andrew then signed off the final drawings and wanted the structure to be powder coated in Traffic White Fine Textured (RAL 9016). Andrew then chose Opal Polycarbonate for the roof glazing. Traffic White and Opal Polycarbonate fit in perfectly with the look of his new build garage, and not to mention it looks classy and contemporary.
Due to the height of Andrew’s motorhome canopy, planning permission was required. We assisted Andrew with the planning permission and provide planning CAD drawings. Once planning permission had been granted, Andrew was eager to move to the next stage, place an official order and request the production CAD drawings.
Once a manufactured date had been confirmed, the installation team arranged a suitable date for Andrew’s Motorhome Canopy to be delivered and erected. Installation of the canopy was straightforward as the canopy fitted in the space perfectly and our professional team completed the job within 2 days!
Once installation was finished, we had a final wipe down and hand over with our customer, who was over the moon with the finished product.
