After a number of conversations with our sales and technical team, Mr & Mrs Goodwin decided to go ahead with a site survey so that we could scan the area and create a 3D video walkthrough for them. The 3D visual showed them that we could design the canopy so that it fits the space perfectly, covering the desired area. As well as this, the visual showcased the aesthetics reassuring them that the canopy would look stunning.
Mr & Mrs Goodwin requested for their canopy to be powder-coated in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey as they both wanted the canopy to look stylish and contemporary. They also wanted the roof to be glazed in Opal structured polycarbonate sheets.
The final price for the solution was as expected and once Mr & Mrs Goodwin placed their order, our design engineers quickly started the engineering drawings. We had to check that the drawings included particular custom elements of the solution such as wall-attached cranked posts, rafters, downpipe outlets and trims.
Drawings sign off:
The drawings were signed off by Mr & Mrs Goodwin and before we knew it the canopy had entered the manufacturing process. Shortly after the long patio canopy had been bespoke manufactured, our project manager organised an installation date with our customers.
Once installation began, the canopy took shape fairly quickly. The installation took a total of 2 days. The 2nd day was spent glazing the canopy roof with polycarbonate and cleaning up the area.
Mr & Mrs Goodwin are overjoyed with the result and can’t wait to get out and use the new space! We provided our customers with a bespoke canopy solution that ticked all of their boxes. Stunning, aesthetically pleasing, custom-designed and structurally sound.
