This was the exact frustration facing Andrew at Frasers MG in Falkirk. He needed a reliable way to protect cars that were ready for handover, ensuring that the first time a customer saw their new vehicle, it was exactly as perfect as the valet team intended, regardless of the forecast.
The Challenge: Beating the Falkirk Elements
Andrew got in touch with Kappion looking for a robust solution. The primary goal was protecting the freshly valeted stock. However, Andrew also recognised a secondary need: improving the handover process itself. Standing outside in the wind and rain while trying to explain the features of a new car isn’t an ideal experience for staff or customers.
They needed a structure that was wide enough for two vehicles, durable enough for the Scottish climate, and aesthetically pleasing enough to match the professionalism of the Frasers MG dealership.
The Solution: A Double Bay Handover Canopy
Working closely with Andrew, we designed a steel H-curved style canopy perfectly suited to their needs.
The structure is impressive, measuring 12 metres wide (split into two generous 6-metre bays), 6 metres deep, and with an eaves height of 2 metres. This provides ample space for four vehicles and plenty of room for customers and staff to walk around the cars comfortably, completely undercover.

The Installation
Installing a large structure in Falkirk during January is never without its challenges! Our team was on-site this week to get the job done. Despite having to press “pause” briefly due to some particularly high winds—safety first—the entire structure was fully installed in just 3 days.
The Result
Frasers MG now has a dedicated, protected zone for customer handovers. The valet team can work without concern that the weather will ruin their efforts, and customers get the premium VIP experience they deserve when collecting their new car, rain or shine.
